Objesctives and Scopus

Secuencia is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It considers for publication original articles written in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French, which are the result of scientific research and represent a clear contribution to the debate and understanding of the historical, social and political evolution of Mexico and Latin America from the colonial period to the 21st century. Secuencia seeks to be a leader among undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and specialists in various areas of history, ethnohistory, sociology, political science, economics, geography and all disciplines related to Social Sciences. All articles are double-blind peer reviewed to determine their acceptance or rejection. Secuencia does not charge a fee for the publication and/or peer-review process. Articles are published in the original language. Secuencia, a quarterly publication that appears regularly in January-April, May-August and September-December, is published by the Dr. José María Luis Mora Research Institute. Secuencia is available in a print (ISSN 0186-0348) and electronic (E-ISSN 2395-8464) version.
