Abstract

This text is a critical contribution to the book "Sentipensar intercultural and methodology for the sustainability of other developments" by the author Eduardo Andrés Sandoval Forero, who with great mastery captures the importance of carrying out a critical analysis of modern/colonial development and how it has led to a structural, social and cultural crisis both in human life and in nature in what he calls OurAmerica, even violating other epistemologies.

That is why it gives us a different perspective of addressing problems from decoloniality and thinking about another sustainability that allows the expression, freedom, interculturality of oppressed peoples, which is why it offers an innovative proposal for the decolonization of development. based on the integration of diverse knowledge and experiences, as well as the use of qualitative methods that allow a deep understanding of complex realities.

In short, the book "Sentipensar intercultural and methodology for the sustainability of other developments" is a fundamental work to understand the criticisms of modern/colonial capitalist development and the proposals for a more just and sustainable development.
